The staff at Shear Sensations
will be teaming up to raise money for the Lancaster Cares Cut-a-Thon again
this year. Held this spring, the cut-a-thon will raise money for
The Gathering Place. This Lancaster County faith-based organization
helps aids patients and their loved ones to cope in many different ways,
and depends greatly upon charitable donations from the community.
We are proud to be participating in this wonderful event!
Shear Sensations continues
to send donated ponytails to Locks
of Love. This Florida-based charity utilizes donated hair
to create wigs for children who have lost their hair due to illness.
If you have healthy hair at least 8 inches long that you wish to donate,
ask your stylist for details.
For the past four years Shear
Sensations has participated in the Lancaster Cares Cut-a-Thon. We have
helped to raise over $10,000 a year to donate to Loving
& Caring and The Gathering Place (gatheringplace@hotmail.com),
two Lancaster Faith-Based Charities.
